The installation of a photovoltaic system is today a strategic choice for companies operating in the plastic thermoforming sector. Considering the high energy consumption typical of thermoforming processes, solar energy can cover a significant part of the company's needs, optimizing production costs and increasing market competitiveness. Furthermore, photovoltaics is an environmentally friendly choice, reducing the energy derived from fossil fuels and thus the emission of CO2 into the atmosphere. This is why ICEA decided to expand its photovoltaic plant by increasing its production capacity to 200 KWp. This expansion was also an opportunity to equip the company with recharging stations for cars and electrically powered vehicles, a way to encourage green mobility as well. But our sustainability journey does not end here: in 2025 we plan to further expand the plant by 150 KWp.
